Winter 2022 Board Virtual Meeting - March 1-2, 2022
The U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board held a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, and Wednesday, March 2, 2022, to review information on the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) research and development activities related to post-closure criticality of dual-purpose canisters disposed of in a repository, welded storage canister atmospheric corrosion and canister failure consequence, integrated waste management system tools, and its consent-based siting process to identify federal interim storage facilities.
