NWTRB to Discuss Status of Yucca Mountain Site Characterization at September Meeting (August 3, 2001)
The Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board will meet in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Monday, September 10, to Wednesday, September 12, 2001, to discuss the status of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) efforts to characterize a site at Yucca Mountain, Nevada, as the possible location of a permanent repository for spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste.
