NWTRB to Discuss Yucca Mountain Safety Case, Staged Repository Concepts, and Corrosion Testing at May Meeting (March 29, 2002)
On Tuesday, May 7, and Wednesday, May 8, 2002, the U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board (Board) will hold a meeting in Washington, D.C., to discuss efforts by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to develop a safety case for a potential repository for spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste at Yucca Mountain, Nevada.
