Waste Management System Operations are Focus of NWTRB September Meeting (August 1, 2008)
On Wednesday, September 24, 2008, the U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board will meet in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the meeting, the Board will review U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) activities related to designing and operating a waste management system in connection with the proposed repository for spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste (HLW) at Yucca Mountain in Nevada.
